Liquid Cargo Ship Team

Drawing approval and technical review of hull structures, hull equipment and installations for the following ship types. Tanker(Oil, Chemical, LPG, LNG), Passenger Ship, Special Purpose Ship, Fishing Vessel.

Dry Cargo Ship Team

Drawing approval and technical review of hull structures, hull equipment and installations for the following ship types.General Cargo Ship, Bulk Carrier, Ore Carrier, Work Vessel, Solid Waste Cargo Ship, Container ship, Ro-Ro Ship, Barge, Tug Boat, Offshore, Floating dock, Dock Gate, Dredger

Machinery Team

Approve the vessel’s propulsion system and auxiliary machinery drawings.

Electric and Automation Team

Electric & Automation Team is carried out the appraisal and review of plans and documents relating to the electric and automation control system.

Environment & Piping Team

Approve drawings of ships' piping system, fire-fighting system and MARPOL related documents.

Stability & Tonnage Team

Stability & Tonnage Team is in charge of the plan approval and the technical review for stability, loading lines, EEDI.

China Plan Approval Center

China Plan Approval Center is located in Shanghai, in charge of review and approval of design plans of ships constructed or repaired in China area, to verify compliance of hull structure, stability, machinery, piping, electrical and automated systems, etc. to the requirements of KR Rules and Guidance, international conventions and the various governments concerned.

Survey Team

Survey team is in charge of procedure for TOC(Transfer of Class) and CSA (Registration after construction from non-IACS)
